Decision made for this weekend I think. Tried mowing but still standing water from the inch of rain we had last weekend. Also making ruts with the mower. Hopefully next week will see an improvement 🤞🤞🙏

Update on the state of the field.
After a couple of fine days, I managed to mow some of the field yesterday.
Unfortunately the mower was still making ruts & now after rain again today, we’re not going to open until the beginning of May.
I don’t think I can ever remember such a wet winter but hopefully a couple of drier weeks should be enough to put vans out again.
This has been a very difficult decision but Angie & I look forward to welcoming everyone back next month.

Dried up enough yesterday morning to have a mad dash &put all the vans out during the afternoon. Pouring again now!!!
Those of you who’d like to bring your vans next weekend, hopefully I’ll pull on with the tractor if it hasn’t dried enough. Neil 🙏☀️
