✨ It's Volunteers' Week – a chance to shine a spotlight on the incredible generosity of volunteers.

We are fortunate to work alongside 230 active Visiting Volunteers. These volunteers are local Freemasons or their family members who visit applicants at home to help navigate our grant processes, fill out paperwork, and offer advice on available support.

Thanks to generous donations from local Freemasons of Clausentum Lodge,
Sir Bevis Lodge and Totton Lodge, patients in Bassett Ward (Enhanced Dementia Care) at Princess Anne Hospital, will benefit from the purchase of 10 Fans delivered today. Hopefully these will help cool patients in the bays and rooms.

Ward Leader, Mel Looker,

“We are so grateful for the lovely donation of the fans today for Bassett Ward, both patients and staff will benefit from these hugely, by keeping the environment cool this aids in better recovery and a better nights sleep”.

On Friday 8th May Bro Norman Bainbridge had the pleasure of accompanying W.Bro Ian Wallace, Worshipful Master of Clausentum Lodge No.1461 at the Cheque Presentation event at Southampton Masonic Hall. There, 30 plus wonderful Charities spoke of the service they provide to our communities. Hearing of the incredible work these charities give to our communities and the work of wonderful Volunteers was an absolute privilege.
The Charity representatives thanked the Lodges for the donations made to them during 2025. Clausentum Lodge donated to the wonderful Rainbow Trust charity and they were represented by the lovely Cindy Steele-Jones.
Congratulations to Terry Raby and his team of organisers on the superb event.

Our APGM Jonathan Bell presented a cheque to the Mayor of Southampton, Councillor James Bailie for his chosen charity.

A distinguished day for Royal Arch Masonry 🔺

Today, Supreme Grand Chapter hosts its Annual Investiture, a special occasion recognising Grand Officer appointments and promotions, and celebrating dedication, service, and commitment to the Order.

Many Companions will be travelling to London to witness and support those receiving honours on this memorable day.

To all those being invested, congratulations on this well deserved recognition. Wishing everyone attending a wonderful day of celebration and fellowship. 🔺

A wonderful afternoon Clausentum Lodge No.1461 Mad Hatters Tea Party this afternoon.

Well done Worshipful Master W.Bro Ian Wallace and your good Lady Sue Wallace and your team of helpers especially Laura Wallace in making it such a successful afternoon for all those who attend with £400.00 raised for a local charity.

Great fun at the Tea Party with lots of laughter and dancing with brethren/wives, family and friends.

Fantastic team effort by everyone.

Very happy days and sunny afternoon are definitely back at Clausentum Lodge No1461.

Roll on the lodge summer BBQ in July.
