White Meadow Camping A Camping Unplugged site in the beautiful New Forest which was closed as a result of the planning authorities. Sorry

Set in open country on the southern end of the New Forest on the Cadland Estate, less than a mile from the beaches of the Solent, White Meadow is a rolling field on the edge of a wooded valley. You can see the Isle of Wight in the near distance. It is a mile’s country walk from the sea and beaches at Lepe Country park, though you can drive if you prefer. Like all Camping Unplugged sites, at White

Meadow we are committed to providing an opportunity for real camping with campfires, dogs and plenty of space.

Despite our representation to the New Forest Planning Authority planning committee, our application to continue camping at White Meadow was rejected. Consquentily, we will be unable to offer camping at White Meadow for the foreseeable future. The True Camping Club will seek to both overturn this decision and look for alternative campsites on the Solent.

Our first season at White Meadow is officially over! 😢

We have had a great time so thank you to everyone who came and camped with us! Our highlights include the many lovely children who took Caitlin under their wing and kept her entertained, the mad bank holidays, and seeing the sheer variety of things that can be cooked on a campfire with just a little creativity!

Due to ongoing planning issues we're not 100% sure that we'll be back next year but we're always optimistic and will let you know as soon as we do. Fingers crossed we can all do it again next year!
