Hope everyone is well and keeping occupied! From next week we will be getting an update from 460 Leisure Limited on progress on The Grand and going forward they will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the progress on the building. It goes without saying that there will be a further delay in the refurbishment due to current restrictions.

Obviously there is only a limited amount of news at the moment about the future of The Grand, but that doesn't stop us celebrating its colourful past. So I am looking for more content.
Are there any live recordings from the gigs? Or studio recordings of "Grand Anthems"? If so please email them to me at [email protected]

The purpose of this page is to keep fans and supporters of The Grand Hotel up to date on the progress of the building work moving towards a completion date in September 2022 (460 Leisure Ltd) The plan is for the building to house 18 luxury flats with long leases. Public support has recently shown that local residents would prefer for The Grand to return to a family orientated Pub/Hotel as it was in its heyday.
The fact that the developers are claiming they are fully committed to the completion of the works can only be good news for the building even though the change of use isn’t proving that popular. Keep checking in for updates on the restoration work and thanks again for your support!

*Wetherspoons have not registered any interest at this point and have not been approached. This would only be appropriate if the planned restoration work cannot be completed
