A warm, friendly welcome in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere is assured in this quiet, peaceful area of Southport. Resident owners Josie and Ian would like to welcome you to Edendale House. We have eight guest bedrooms comprising of single, double, and family rooms situated on the first and second floors. Every room has a TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee & biscuit tray, complimentary toiletries, and en-

suite facilities/private bathroom. Every room is individually decorated. Our dining room is delightfully decorated with breakfast served at separate tables. Edendale House is only a short walk from most of Southport's main visitor attractions, but less than an hour away from Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, Preston, Lancaster, and the Lakes, perfect for a touring base. 🌸 What a fabulous day at the Southport Flower Show! 🌸

What a wonderful time we had at this year’s Southport Flower Show — and the sunshine even came out for us! ☀️🌺

There was so much to see: spectacular flowers and show gardens, incredibly creative floral art, beautiful orchids, crafts, quirky stalls, alpacas 🦙… and even a rather fabulous gathering of the work of Southport Hookers! 😂🧶

One of the things we love about the Flower Show is that you really don’t have to be a gardening expert to enjoy it. There’s something around every corner, and the atmosphere this year was absolutely lovely.

And naturally, we made time to sit down for a cuppa and enjoy the sunshine amongst the crowds. ☕️❤️

Southport really does come alive for its big events, and we’re very lucky to have occasions like this right on our doorstep.

Thank you to everyone who came to Southport for the show and especially to those who chose to stay with us at Edendale House. We hope you had a fabulous time!

It's been wonderful meeting golf fans from near and far and being part of such an unforgettable week.

Our guests have been enjoying our homemade ice cream cones after a day at the course 🍦—the perfect treat in the sunshine! We also had so much fun putting together our "Par-Tee" bags to give everyone a warm welcome and add a little extra touch to their stay.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful guests for choosing to stay with us. We hope you've had an amazing time at Royal Birkdale and made memories to last a lifetime. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon!

Today marks 9 wonderful years since we took over Edendale House Bed & Breakfast here in beautiful Southport, and what an incredible journey it has been!

Over the years, we've had the pleasure of welcoming guests from across the UK and around the world. Many have returned time and time again, becoming friends along the way. We've shared countless breakfasts, stories, laughs, and memories that we'll always treasure.

Southport has seen so much over the last nine years, and we've been lucky enough to witness it all:

✈️The breathtaking Southport Air Show.
🎄 Magical Christmas lights and festive events bringing the town to life.
🏖️ Busy summers with visitors enjoying the beach, Marine Lake, and our beautiful coastline.
🎆 Firework displays, festivals, classic car events, and community celebrations.
❤️ The incredible resilience and spirit of our local community through the challenges of the pandemic.

One of our proudest milestones has been welcoming golf fans from around the world during both Open Championships held at Royal Birkdale since we became owners. It's been a privilege to play a small part in such iconic sporting events, meeting guests from every corner of the globe and sharing the excitement that The Open brings to Southport. Those weeks have created some truly unforgettable memories for us and our guests alike. ⛳️

Running Edendale House has been hard work, but it's also been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives. We couldn't have reached this milestone without the support of our wonderful guests, fantastic local businesses, friends, family, and everyone who has recommended or stayed with us over the years.
