Most unusual gift yet from a guest! 🥚✨ Quail eggs!

They look like little pieces of art — every single one is different and unique with its own beautiful pattern. 😍

Now the big question… do I boil them and pop them into a salad? 🥗 Or make the tiniest little fried eggs?! 🍳😂

🐦 Quail eggs are much smaller than chicken eggs — roughly one-fifth the size.

🎨 No two quail eggs have exactly the same speckled pattern, which makes them look so special.

What a weekend! We have loved being part of the Southport Heritage Open Days.

Thank you to the lovely Caroline one of our guests for the last ten years for all the research you have done into the people who have lived in our house. Thank you for sharing your knowledge over the weekend.

We had a Surprise visit from David & Judith and their family who we purchased The Bowden Lodge from ten years ago.

Also Thank you to all the lovely people who came and visited our Victorian Villa and tasted our home baked goodies. Think the cheesecake was the favourite.

We have had some lovely feedback from those who have visited.
