Our standard double rooms have been designed with your comfort in mind. All our double rooms continue the country theme of our ‘log wall’, each having a console table masterfully cut from the trunk of a tree.
Each room has been superbly decorated to the highest standard with 5-star quality beds dressed with sumptuous duvets to add to your comfort. An extra touch of comfort and style comes from the 100% wool throws which complement the theme of the hotel.
Each room has an en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and soft white towels.

Birthday and Anniversary Celebrations
Here at The New Hobbit we would love to help you celebrate that very special occasion. Whether it’s a special birthday, anniversary, family reunion or just a bit of a knees up, we are here to help you plan and co-ordinate your gathering.
For private celebration parties we can help you to organise your event suggesting themes, colours, balloons, table decorations, a disco, a band and a photographer, or we are happy for you to organise it all yourself, but if you need good contacts we have many we can recommend. We offer fantastic food and great accommodation rates are available for party guests.

A christening, a naming ceremony, however you wish to celebrate your baby’s arrival, is one of life’s most enjoyable events - and The New Hobbit is one of the loveliest venues you will find to celebrate the occasion with family and friends.
