Hi all!
Broadgate at the village end, close to the s bend is closed.
The diversion is down guanockgate, which runs parallel to Broadgate and brings you out at the end near Clough bridge.
Beware though, guanockgate is very bumpy and potholey!
Drive safe!

Hi All,

Following on from my previous post, the water issue has just got worse unfortunately.
We are aware that it is affecting a wider area and have been told there are 3 current bursts. 1 has been repaired today and 2 are planned for over night repair.

In the meantime, I will be back at about 9.15 pm, with some bottles of water for anyone who requires some drinking water, as we are aware that some people in the village have no water at all.

We can only apologise for the inconvenience this is causing, and hope the repaires are completed quickly and we have water again soon.
