JUBILEE COURSE — The hardest of the bunch; narrow, windy, and right on the dunes.

Family Fun Days Out - All within 15 minutes drive!

🚂 CRAIGTOUN COUNTRY PARK (Under 5 Mins Away): An absolute must-visit for families. The park grounds, adventure playground, massive zip wire, and trampolines are always open and free to use. On weekends and school holidays, you can buy cheap tickets for the seasonal attractions: the Rio Grande miniature railway, Puffin' Billy tractor rides, pedalos on the lake, and crazy golf. There's also an on-site café.

🍓 CAIRNIE FRUIT FARM (Cupar, 15 Mins Away): Just a short drive west, Cairnie is famous for its massive outdoor "Funyard," which features trampolines, go-karts, a mega slide, and massive climbing structures. Depending on the time of year, you can pick your own strawberries and fruit, tackle their massive 6-acre Mega Maize Maze (opens mid-July), or visit the pumpkin patch in October.

🦌THE SCOTTISH DEER CENTRE (Cupar, 15 Mins Away): A fantastic, spacious wildlife park where kids can see and feed various species of deer. They also have European wolves, lynx, bears, and daily falconry displays, alongside great indoor and outdoor play areas if the kids still have energy to burn.

🐟 ST ANDREWS AQUARIUM (10 Mins Away): Located right on the cliffs, this is perfect for all ages (and a great rainy-day backup). Kids love getting up close with the seals, penguins, meerkats, and reef sharks.

⛳HIMALAYAS PUTTING COURSE (10 Mins Away): Located right next to the famous Old Course, this is the world's most famous mini-golf experience. It’s incredibly cheap, open to everyone, and features a brilliantly bumpy 18-hole putting green that is fun for both toddlers and teens.

🗺 TREASURE TRAILS ST ANDREWS (10 Mins Away): You can download a themed "Spy Mission" or "Treasure Hunt" walking trail app for St Andrews. It’s a brilliant way to explore the historic castle and cathedral ruins while keeping kids completely engaged by hunting for clues.

🏖️WEST SANDS BEACH (10 Mins Away): The massive expanse of sand is perfect for kite flying, building sandcastles, and paddling.

On a day when the mist (haar) is rolling in off the North Sea, there is no better time to visit the Michelin starred in St Andrews.
The food is exceptional, with staff to match. The view is pretty great too (if the weather allows). Each course is thoughtfully designed, and carefully explained by the chef and waiting staff. A secret message map showcases where some of the many local Scottish ingredients are sourced.
Well worth a visit on your next stay in St Andrews (tip: book well ahead!)
