Located on North Street, the hotels are within 5 minutes’ walk of the University, Castle, town centre, and of course only 200 yards from the world famous Old Course and R&A building. Below the hotel, set back from the road by our south facing seated patio, is the ever-popular Playfair’s restaurant. Playfair’s offers a wide selection of freshly prepared food using ingredients from local suppliers, and is extremely popular with both guests at the Ardgowan and local people.
