Right at the entrance to the hotel, we’ve just finished our beautiful display of orange autumn leaves, matching the season perfectly. There’s nothing quite like arriving in St Andrews this time of year.

We love to celebrate the businesses on our doorstep. Today we shine a light on Reaper's Rum, made right here in St Andrews. We currently stock their latest release, ‘The Lovers’, which is a caribbean style rum infused with coconut and raspberry flavours.

You'll find it behind the bar at Bow Butts, poured neat or in a serve of your choice.

Our restaurant manager Jason doesn't do things by halves, case in point, this smoked pineapple dacquiri, with Lang’s pineapple infused rum, lime and simple sugar syrup. We're confident enough to say it’s probably the best in St Andrews.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship tees off in St Andrews today until Sunday and, as many of us are big golf fans, we’re very excited.

If you're in town for the championship, make sure to pay us and a visit for lunch, dinner, or a good dram. We'll have a seat waiting for you.

How does Sunday roast tomorrow sound at Ondine?

Our recent Sunday roasts included smoked haddock chowder, Puglia burrata with roasted tomato relish, and a Perthshire roast rump of beef finished in rosemary jus, served with all the trimmings: roast potatoes, Chantenay carrots, tenderstem broccoli and proper Yorkshire puddings. To finish, strawberry pavlova or a dark and milk chocolate ganache.
