This week Lodge 17 at St Andrews Reached 3,000 followers on Facebook 🥰

And honestly… I never expected this.

When I first bought the lodge and created this page, it was mainly for family and friends.

My original plan was actually to have a management company look after everything while I took a step back.

But things didn’t quite work out that way…

With a background in sales, I knew I wanted the lodge marketed and managed differently and due to this we parted ways.

I took the lodge back and got some help from someone with hosting experience, and after a couple of months I was told:

“You should do this yourself.”

😳

Not going to lie… I was absolutely terrified! 😂

My background is construction 🚧 — not running holiday lets.

But I took the leap & today I have:-

✨ 3,000+ Facebook followers
✨ 1,800+ followers across my other social platforms
✨ A community that continues to grow every day.
✨9.7 review score on Booking.com
✨ Spring/Summer fully booked since May.

This the stunning town of Falkland is only 25min drive from the Lodge.

Falkland House & Gardens is where Mary Queen of Scots stayed for a period of time.

It’s definitely worth a visit if staying at the Lodge.

The historic village of Falkland looks lovely from every angle ❤
