After much consideration, sadness and for various reasons we have decided to call time on our tenure of The Boat Inn. It’s been a great pleasure to serve you all over the last few months and we’ll see you all the other side of the bar for a longer conversation. The new owners will be Matt & Nat who currently run the Red Lion at Great Chatwell. See you soon and thank you, Sue & Rick

To our lovely customers, don’t forget we have live music tomorrow evening from 8.30 pm, the talented Jason Huxley, and in answer to the question, no tickets are required.
His background is working in pubs in Eccleshall, doing covers of U2, Sting, The Killers, Elbow, Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon and many more, so should be a good night of entertainment.

The kitchen will also be back open from lunchtime today, look forward to feeding you again! 😄

Evening all, we’ve been asked by Julie (Nosh’s sister) to put a thank you on here for all that had a toast in The Boat tonight in his memory. A very sad day and he will be very much missed by all.

Thank you all for coming to The Boat over the last 10 days or so and making it our busiest weeks & weekends to date. No bingo, dominoes, disco, live music etc but as simple as - the sun was out, that's all.
