We have 2 twin rooms and 3 double rooms.

Keeping it simple at this peaceful accommodation, situated at the top of this picturesque fishing village. We are situated along the Cleveland way and a big hit with walking groups. Former First World War army barracks have been converted, keeping some of the historic charm and character. Each room is self contained with its own shower, w/c and basin, which is not assessable by other guests. There is a shared outdoor area perfect for watching the sunset over the hills with picnic benches.

One of the many things we love about Staithes is its wonderful independent businesses, and Betsy & Bo is definitely worth a visit during your stay.

Located at the bottom of the village, you’ll find all your holiday essentials including fresh bread, milk, eggs, cheese, cooked meats, salad, olives, pantry staples and plenty of delicious treats too. Whether you’ve forgotten a few bits or fancy putting together a picnic or cheeseboard, it’s the perfect place to stock up.

Betsy and Bo is open 7 days a week from 10:00am until 5:00pm, making it easy to pop in whenever you need those holiday essentials.

One of the lovely little touches you’ll find at staithes is the Borrow, Play, Return beach toy box 🏖️

Forgot the bucket and spade? No problem! Families are welcome to borrow a toy, enjoy a day building sandcastles and making memories, then simply return it for the next little beach explorer. It’s a wonderful community initiative that helps reduce waste while spreading a little kindness.

At Keel rooms, we’re just a short stroll from this beautiful beach, making it easy to enjoy carefree family days by the sea.
