A wonderful day out in Oakham.
We had a delicious lunch at ‘Hitchen’s Barn’ where booking is recommended. Followed by a walk around the market on the way to the castle where a lovely lady gave us a free tour with lots of interesting information on the history.
Only a 20 minute drive from the cottages and it’s taken us 25yrs to take a day off and explore!
