Happy Easter from The Annexe Stannington!

The 2026 Season is now open and, as always, a warm Northumbrian welcome awaits our guests.

We offer quiet and spacious private self-catering accommodation for up to four guests.

King-size bedroom, double sofa bed, bathroom, kitchen, garden area, and your own parking space on our driveway.

We welcome contractors, wedding guests, staycationers, just-travelling-through-ers, solos, couples, and families. Let us know what you need and we'll make it happen! Ironing board, travel cot and high chair available on request.

Enjoying the Autumn sunshine here at The Annexe 🍂🍁🌅

It's been a while since we posted. We are proud to have received over 75 five-star reviews ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Our guests love our sparkling clean apartment, warm welcome, and fantastic access to the coast, countryside, city and beyond.

A few new things: shiny new doorsign, new fluffy towels... and we are now taking bookings via Booking.com (as well as Airbnb) 🔑

Celebrating a year since we opened our Annexe in Stannington village!

Since opening, we've welcomed 46 guests, provided umpteen sachets of Northumbrian tea, been awarded Airbnb Superhost status 4 consecutive times and received a full set of 5* reviews.

What a fantastic day we've had at the Battle of Britain event in Stannington village. We filled the whole day going between the village hall and field, St Mary's Church and Lough House Farm.

Thank you to all the organisers, participants and volunteers for such a well-run event. Particularly all the volunteers from our wonderful local community - Stannington Parish, Stannington First School PTA and the W.I.

So great to see lots of visitors enjoying our little village!
