All our guests are special, but some are even more special than others!

This weekend we had the Carr family back staying with us in The Penthouse for the fourth year running for the Midsummer Beer Happening. We’ve had a LOT of fun with them over the years, including olives, cocktail sticks, a magic mirror and now a butter dish!

So this year instead of the usual Tunnock’s Teacakes and Caramel Wafers we upgraded them to a Tunnock’s selection box and to make sure they could properly enjoy their olives we also got them some very appropriately named ‘Posh Pricks’ 😉

We look forward to seeing them again in 2027 for more beer, cycling and frivolity!

🔪📚🔎 We were delighted to host The Green Room for Stonehaven’s inaugural Heart of Stone Crimewriting Festival a couple of weekends ago and provide a space for the killer line up of authors and experts to relax, refresh and refuel between events and enjoy our amazing sea views 🌊❤️

No planned murders in Stonehaven this weekend but it is the Midsummer Beer Happening and we have availability in The Haven from Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th June.

In between the showers this afternoon we visited Mill of Benholm Enterprise for lunch, a wander around the mill, woodlands, garden, millpond and a patisserie treat from Julieth Patisserie Art 😍

Just one of the fantastic spots that form part of the Scottish East Coast Mearns Angus family.
