These fabulous ladies chose Elsick House for a self-catering getaway last year and transformed it into their very own Bollywood celebration for the weekend!

From colourful outfits and sharing delicious food to getting creative together, it was a weekend full of fun, friendship, and wonderful memories.

With plenty of space to relax, celebrate, and make the house your own, Elsick House is the perfect setting for a themed party, a special celebration, or simply a relaxing weekend away from it all.

Mr & Mrs Stoddart 🤍

Married at the beautiful Elsick House on 1st August 2026.

Such a lovely day from beginning to end, filled with beautiful details, relaxed moments, plenty of laughter and the most gorgeous gardens for their newlywed photographs. Even with the ceremony moving indoors, the day still felt bright, personal and completely theirs.

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Stoddart. Thank you for trusting me to capture it all. ✨

That first look at the bride and her party is often one of the most emotional moments of the morning 🤍

The finishing touches are complete, the excitement is building, and for the very first time, family and friends get to see the bridal party walk down those carpeted stairs at Elsick House, ready for the day ahead. The smiles, the happy tears, and the reactions never get old.

Recently we celebrated a very special member of the Elsick House family as Joyce officially retired from her role as Housekeeper, with a lovely party held at brae.

After more than 20 years at Elsick House, it's hard to imagine the "big hoose" without her.

Before joining Elsick, Joyce worked at Balmoral Castle, before moving here to look after the Late Duke of Fife. Since then, she has become a much-loved part of Elsick's story. From keeping every room looking immaculate and creating her famous animal-shaped towels, to sharing stories, wisdom and her trademark no-nonsense attitude, Joyce has been at the heart of Elsick for so long.

Her warm personality and incredible determination have made her a favourite with guests and colleagues alike, and many will also know her as "Iron Grandma" thanks to her remarkable achievements in powerlifting!

While we're saying goodbye to Joyce as our Housekeeper, this isn't quite farewell. We're delighted that she'll still be helping out with weddings, so we'll continue to see her around Elsick and sharing the spirit that makes her such a special part of our team.

Thank you, Joyce, for everything you've done for Elsick House over the years. We wish you a peaceful, happy retirement - and look forward to seeing you back for wedding days.
