Road End Cottage, Self Catering, Isle of Lewis

On November 29th Road End Cottage was sold and John and I will be taking some time over Christmas and into the New Year to decide if we are going to do it all again on the East Coast of Scotland. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported us as hosts, everyone who “liked our page and commented on our posts” and everyone who stayed with us and who left such wonderful reviews on Airbnb.
We very much appreciated all of it.

Sadly this will be our last season at Road End Cottage, we still have availability in October and November then the Cottage under our ownership will be closing it’s doors.

Seilebost on an overcast day but still beautiful and finally remembered to take my binoculars which was a bonus as a golden eagle flew right overhead, catching the thermals. Thank goodness John didn’t step out of the car or we might never have spotted it.
