A member of the StayCotswold team recently spent the evening at Woolpack Inn, Slad Valley, and what a find.

The food was delicious, fresh, full of flavour and exactly what you want from a good country pub. And then there are the views. Sitting there surrounded by the rolling Cotswold countryside, it was the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the evening.

There’s something so nice about discovering a pub like this tucked away in the countryside. It’s relaxed, welcoming and the kind of place where you’re tempted to stay for another drink!

Lilly from our Owner Services team recently spent the day at RH England at Aynho Park in Oxfordshire, just outside the Cotswolds.

If you haven't already been, RH England is a whole experience, not just a shop. Set inside a 400 year old Grade I listed estate, it features 73 acres and 60+ rooms of curated interiors, antiques and art, plus gardens by Capability Brown and views over England's largest herd of white deer. You can see from her snaps just how stunning it is.

Even if interiors aren't your thing, it's worth the trip just for the setting. it's part historic house, part design museum, and offers a very good lunch. Take it from us, it's the perfect day out if you're in or near the Cotswolds.

Tom paid a visit to The Norman Knight in Whichford recently, and safe to say it's gone straight on the list.

The kind of place where real ales, proper British food and a view over the village green make it very easy to spend a whole afternoon. It reminds you exactly why the Cotswolds does this sort of thing better than anywhere else.
