SENIOR PROJECT NIGHT 2.

Tonight we had the lovely Kirsten from Inspire.

Tonight we concentrated on what’s in our school bag, what we use to be positive and boost or way of thinking.

Great session.

JUNIOR CLUB TODAY.

Today was food day, and a massive thanks to Sweeneys Ballycolman as usual for the great food.

Today was forfeit and reward day from games on Tuesday.

The losing team had to wear their socks on their ears and the winning team were treated to a McColgans bun.

We then took a walk to see how high the river was today.

A fun but crazy afternoon.

This is also last reminder for trip forms.

MEN GROUP

IRISH HARP MAKING CLASS WITH Artie Forbes.

Tonight we finished off our Irish Harps with Artie.

It’s been a brilliant 6 weeks of learning and crafting.

Learning how these Harps were made and why, it’s been a great pleasure of ours to welcome Artie every week.

We can’t thank him enough for the last 6 weeks, you’ll all agree they are beautiful and will take pride of place in our homes.

A special thank you to Jarlath from Strabane Health Improvement Project for letting us you’s his premises for the last 6 weeks, place was always warm and tea always warm, thank you for everything.

Tonight is our last night for 2 weeks we will resume on the 4th of November with our new up cycle project.

SENIORS PROJECT

Tonight we had our usual Tuesday night, games and chill night.

Tonight as a game we got the young people role playing how they would conduct an interview, they wrote their own questions, interviewed each other and even gave 2 members new jobs.

Well done to Brayden for his new job at McDonalds and to Ella for her new job as a Lion 🦁 tamer at the Circus 🤡

Junior Youth Club.

What an absolutely brilliant day of clubs, noise noise and more noise but all with laughter and joy.

Today was the usual homework to start off with then we got into our games of Chinese Whispers and Simon Says.

We are so happy to welcome Cora, Shannon and Sarah to our team today.

WOMEN GROUP.

Week 1 of our project with Bonner.

Today we start making our Christmas Bunting.

This will carry on for the next 6 weeks.

ANTI BULLYING PROGRAM WEEK 6.

Tonight the young people learnt about the punishments you could receive if your caught bullying in school or in the work place and what consequences this may have on your life.

We also covered that your personal secrets shouldn’t always be told to everyone and they can be used against you.

Or as EJ said, IF YOU DONT TRUST THEM YOU DONT TELL THEM.

A great week, and the young people are really enjoy both learning and training parts of the project.

Juniors Youth Club.

Today we had loads of homework, these kids are so smart and willing to learn.

Today we start a project around Anti Bullying.
The designed a picture and coloured it in. A greats days fun.

We had Aoife win first prize with a very close 2nd and 3rd.

What a great first night with Inspire last night for our wellbeing project! 💙

We had some really meaningful discussions around identity, core values, trust, honesty, and what these things mean to us as individuals and as a group.

It was a brilliant opportunity to reflect, share ideas, listen to one another, and start building strong foundations for the project ahead.
