Just 45 mins from Belfast, 15 mins from Downpatrick, Strangford is a beautiful coastal location, quiet, relaxed and with a huge range of activities and attractions on the doorstep.

During our renovation we came across a 1911 receipt for printing the church annual report. We also found receipts from other, long gone, local shops — The Down Recorder was the only business still operating. With the news of its closure this week, it feels especially poignant. After 189 years, it's a huge loss for the communities of Down.
