Funeral Notice – Raymond Woodley

Following the deeply sad yet peaceful passing of Raymond Woodley, we wish to inform you of the date of his funeral.

Ray’s funeral service will take place on Thursday 3rd September at 12:30 pm at Redditch Crematorium.

Following the service, all who knew and loved Ray are warmly invited to gather at The New Inn, Clifford Chambers, to share memories and celebrate his life together.

The family kindly requests flowers be withheld. However, those wishing to make a donation in Ray’s memory may contribute to The Air Ambulance; donation boxes will be available at The New Inn.

We are grateful for the kindness and support shown to the family during this difficult time.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Woodley, beloved owner of The New Inn Hotel & Restaurant, at the age of 89.

Alongside his two sons, Ray restored and reopened the doors to the “new” New Inn in 1992 after significant restoration work, bringing new life to the pub we all know and love. His dedication, hard work, and warm presence helped shape The New Inn into the welcoming place so many of us have come to know and love.

Ray was a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and will be deeply missed by all of us.

Rest in peace Grandad.
