A message to our lovely guests and followers 💛
We’ve noticed a little confusion recently because our address is very similar to another nearby property that also operates shepherd’s huts.
To avoid any misunderstandings, we want to reassure everyone that our shepherds hut Rosie’s Retreat, and our barn Swallows Nest are entirely independent and have no connection whatsoever with the nearby businesses trading as Harmony Hot Tub Bude or Ramblers Rest. These are completely separate properties with different ownership, land, and animals.
We are also aware that, in the past, our address was incorrectly used in relation to Ramblers Rest shepherd’s hut and in a planning enquiry concerning nearby agricultural buildings. This was a misuse of our address, and not authorised by us.
We understand that recent media coverage involving livestock welfare has caused concern. To be absolutely clear:
👉 The footage and welfare issues reported have no connection to our business, our land, or our animals.
👉 We alerted the relevant authorities after witnessing the concerning behaviour, and we have been fully supporting their enquiries throughout.
Thank you so much to everyone who continues to support our small family-run retreat. Our commitment to providing a peaceful, safe, and beautiful countryside escape remains unchanged. We look forward to welcoming new and returning guests very soon. 🤍
