own of Street in Somerset, just 15 minutes from the M5, it is an ideal place for those on visiting on business or pleasure. The Bear Inn boasts a spacious interior with a large beer garden and terrace to enjoy in the summer months. It also has two function rooms making it a great choice for meetings or conferences. The Inn’s accommodation consists of 24 comfortable en-suite bedrooms situated above the pub and in our neighbouring cottages. Our room rates include breakfast. We also have an ample sized car park free to guests. Street was a small farming community until the mid 19th century when Cyrus Clark set up his shoe factory and built housing and leisure facilities to provide for his workers. Now, the manufacturing arm has moved abroad and the old workshops have been turned into a Clark’s Retail Village offering designer and high street clothes at outlet prices. We are located a minute’s walk from the Clark's Retail Village and less than 10 minutes drive from the infamous Glastonbury and cathedral city Wells
