We have been extremely quiet on the social media front due to our busy farming/ family life demands however over the last 2 year's have been busy landscaping, planting tree's to make it perfect for our visiting guests.
This drone footage captures the Barns idyllic shore location perfectly displaying its views overlooking Scapa Flow as well as the majestic hills of Hoy to he south west. The newly restored Barn is surrounded by our lush green farmland, which our Dairy cattle Graze during the summer months to produce the multi award winning Orkney Cheese.

Guest Information to re-arrange travel.

Northlink is to put on extra sailings between Stromness and Scrabster until at least Tuesday 12th July.

The Hamanvoe will do two extra runs leaving Stromness at 9.15pm and departing Scrabster at 11.30pm between today and Sunday.

NorthLink Ferries will open the terminal building in Stromness a little earlier for passengers travelling in on the 19.18hrs bus from Kirkwall, to give passengers somewhere to wait before the 21.15hrs sailing from Stromness.

Stagecoach will then provide a bus to meet the 01:00hrs arrival from Scrabster, taking folk through to Kirkwall. The bus will be marked X10.

The Alfred won't be sailing again until the 18th of July.

Sailings were due to start again on Monday 11th but all Pentland Ferries sailings to Gills Bay and back, up to and including Sunday 17th have now been cancelled.

Pentland Ferries say everyone affected will be refunded and contacted.
