Well, we may not have had the clearest view of this evening's solar eclipse, but we definitely had one of the most atmospheric 🥰
Dozens of people gathered at the Ring of Brodgar to experience the unique spirit of these great standing stones during the event.
Cloud may have obscured the sun (and moon) at the moment of maximum eclipse, but they began to part a little as the crescent sun slowly reappeared from behind its lunar cousin.
You wonder what our Neolithic ancestors, who built this great stone circle, would have made of this celestial gathering ☀️🌕❤️
