The Orktoberfest Sunday Session is warming up… thankfully no arm-wrestling challengers so it’s tunes right through now. Still a couple of tables available for the Fiery Curry Night at the Ferry 5pm, 7.30pm and 8pm slots available. £25 per head , 3 courses, with veg, fish and meat options. The stage is set …. Our last gigs at the Royal. Delighted to be welcoming back John Dearness, Marcus, Will and friends for our end of season Orktoberfest blast . 2200 til 0045. Free gig tonight, small cover charge in aid of Clan Cancer Support tomorrow (Sat 3). Upstairs at the Royal. Get yourselves out of the house for tunes and cheer. Cask ales on the bar.

Join Jenny, Lawrence, the SMUHA musicians and friends for a fantastic evening of tunes, beers and cheer in the Hudson Lounge (the back bar) at the Royal….. and Jenny’s book and cd are still available so bring extra pennies!

150 torches only for the Orktoberfest procession next Saturday at 6pm. Register for yours now! Email [email protected], pop in to the Ferry and speak to Ang through the week or visit the CLAN shop in the town. £10 donation to Clan Cancer Support secures your torch. Under 14s must be accompanied. Wear gloves, hats and auld claes….. it gets a bit reekie! Sooooo looking forward to it. B**r fest, music, arm-wrestling, gaffs…. What could be better. Hope to see everyone out and about.
