The Strontian Hotel We are a small, family-run, boutique, highland hotel with en-suite accommodation with one of the best panoramic loch and mountain views in Scotland.

A historic, characterful highland hotel set at the gateway to Ardnamurchan that has one of the best panoramic loch and mountain views in Scotland at the head of Loch Sunart. Set at the head of Loch Sunart, a tidal loch, this is one of the most beautiful spots imaginable. We pride ourselves on offering a hearty breakfast and friendly service and our Bothy Bar provides evening meals to our guests and the public. We are an ideal base from which to explore the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, its beautiful beaches and ancient woodlands. We are just 25 miles from Fort William and Ben Nevis.

We have a fabulous Christmas Day menu this year so we are really excited to let you all know! So if you fancy a break for Christmas or Twixmas, or both, then why not book in now so you can kick back, relax and enjoy this menu on the big day with us! We haven't limited the dates available to stay with us by packaging them up by set dates - you can pick and choose the dates that work for you. However, if you'd like to be with us for this sumptuous feast, make sure you are with us on the big day!

Our Christmas Day Menu is now out, and it's looking delicious, even if we say so ourselves! If you have friends and family staying and don't want to be tied to the kitchen, or simply want to treat yourselves for the day, then this should be perfect. Booking for this is separate from our normal online booking system, so to secure your space please drop us a message or book your table when you're next in.

We will also be running a separate Festive Menu for pre-Christmas get-togethers and group celebrations, so if you'd like to know more, just let us know!
