In June 2015 we did what most people do. We went on holiday and thought "wouldn't it be lovely to live somewhere like this...maybe when we retire". As it happens circumstances were right and we did indeed up and move. By the end of November we had uprooted from Essex and moved over the sea to Skye. What a wonderful decision, now we are running our own bed and breakfast and beginning to realise jus
t how much Skye has to offer both visitors and residents. We will try not to bore on too much about ourselves but provide updates about the wildlife, culture, events and personalities that make Skye so extraordinary and perhaps you might like to base yourselves with us when you visit and discover some of the magic for yourselves.
