A message from Steve and Sarah, your Quays Lodge hosts:

“Here at Quays Lodge, the community in Suffolk is very important to us. We have been supporters of Thurston Rugby Club since our son played for them - the club remains a uniting pillar in the locality, encouraging sportsmanship and friendship for people of all ages.

As a sign of appreciation for this, we have decided to sponsor a member of the team to continue the good work that clubs such as this provide.

Quays Lodge now proudly sponsors Joe Melvin who has been announced as captain of the Thurston Rugby 1st Team and we wanted to congratulate him and wish him well in his Thurston Rugby endeavours.”

👋🏻 Hello everyone, I thought it was about time to introduce ourselves. We are Steve and Sarah - the owners and hosts of Quays Lodge - The holiday let.

Suffolk is our home and we adore the area and all it has to offer for a holiday destination.

Quay’s Lodge is close to Bury St Edmunds which is known as the ‘Jewel in the crown of Suffolk’! 💎👑

Suffolk has glorious coastal towns and we are a short drive from picturesque Cambridge and Newmarket.

There is so much to see and do here and we are really enjoying running the lodge.

Perfect for both relaxation and entertainment we look forward to welcoming you to Quays Lodge and sensational Suffolk!

The Theatre Royal in Bury St. Edmunds was designed by William Wilkins and built in 1819. It has kept many of its original features and is the last remaining Regency Playhouse in the country.
We visited last night to watch the Tryal of Witches play and were not disappointed, such a talented all female cast, bringing this period of paranoia and superstition on to the stage . A definite place to visit when staying at Quays Lodge. The Christmas Panto is always a favorite too !
