Your opinion is important to us…

We have almost finished the refurbishment programme, and we plan to re-open Summer 2026 (here’s a sneak peak of our new colour scheme…)

On occasions we will be closed to the public for exclusive / private events such as weddings and special event milestones birthdays with accommodation for up to 24 guests (optional).

However, we do also plan to open to the public for a variety of events and would welcome any reasonable suggestions as to what you might like to see which we know has been part of the community for very many years.

So far we have had suggestions of

- Coffee mornings for dementia suffers and friends.
-Somewhere elderly people might meet for coffee and a chat.
- Bouncy Castle Inflatable days run during the school holidays.

But we want more of your ideas…

We may not be open but we’ve been anything but quiet….

Refurbishment works are progressing well to convert The Plough Country Lodge from a pub/restaurant into an exclusive events venue.

Book the property and gardens to have your wedding, special event, corporate away day, milestone birthday or for a gathering of friends and family. Use of reception space to seat up to 150, open plan lounge area, dining room, kitchen, games room/facilities. (Watch this space for photos!)

We also have plans to offer 10 bedrooms to accommodate up to 24 guests. Exclusively hire the venue for your group.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us at the winter wonderland. It’s been wonderful to see so many of you enjoying the magic with us.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited for what’s to come and our plans for an event venue, starting with the refurbishment and upgrade of all bedrooms. We will also be holding various seasonal fun days so please follow us for more information.
