🍇 Looking for a relaxing Suffolk getaway?

One of the many reasons our guests love staying at The Studio is that we're surrounded by wonderful places to explore, and Wyken Vineyards is one of our favourites, just over 20 minutes away.

Your visit begins with a peaceful walk through beautiful ancient woodland before opening out into the vineyard. Enjoy a guided tour, discover how their wines are made, and finish with a delicious wine tasting. 🍷

Afterwards, head to The Leaping Hare, a beautiful restaurant set within a restored 400-year-old barn, where you can enjoy seasonal dishes made with produce from the estate.

It's the perfect way to spend a leisurely afternoon before returning to the comfort of The Studio to relax and unwind.

We feel so lucky to have places like this right on our doorstep, and we love sharing these hidden Suffolk gems with our guests.

A peaceful corner of Suffolk... 🌿

One of our favourite things about The Studio at Chequers is how private it feels. Although we're just moments from the A140, our secluded courtyard overlooks a peaceful meadow that's regularly visited by rabbits, pheasants, deer and a wonderful variety of birds.

It's the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, a morning coffee or a glass of wine as the sun goes down.

If you're looking for a relaxing countryside escape with easy access to both Suffolk and Norfolk, we'd love to welcome you.
