Something magical is happening just along the coast tomorrow evening.

Lightwaves Sandilands will take visitors on a guided journey through light, music and sound, accompanied by glowing birds, butterflies, illuminated artwork and some unexpected characters.

The gentle one-mile experience lasts approximately 45 minutes and is suitable for all ages. It is also accessible to wheelchairs, mobility scooters and buggies.

🏍️ MABLETHORPE SAND RACING IS BACK! 🏍️

One of the Lincolnshire coast’s most exciting winter traditions returns to Mablethorpe Beach this morning!

The new season begins with a practice day today, Sunday 11 October, before the competitive meetings get underway later this month.

Watch motorcycles and quads race around a fast oval circuit on the sand, battling the changing surface and coastal conditions. It’s an action-packed morning out for spectators—and completely free to watch from the promenade!

⏰ Racing generally takes place from around 9am until midday, although timings can change because of tides, weather and beach conditions.
