Join us on Thursday 24th December, 9am–10:30am, for our Christmas Eve Brunch. Tuck into Eggs Royale, our famous Magna Full English or a stack of American pancakes. There are veggie options and a kids’ menu too, so the whole family is sorted before the big day!

When the nights draw in, warm up with a bowl of our Chilli Con Carne 🌶️ Tender steak mince slow-cooked with onions, chilli, coriander, cumin and tomatoes, served with sour cream and chives, crunchy tortilla chips and your choice of chips, rice or half and half.

Prefer it meat-free? Our Smoky Three Bean Chilli 🫘 has all the warmth and comfort, with a vegan option available too.

Say hello to our Veggie Fish & Chips: big pieces of halloumi, deep-fried in a crispy golden batter and served with chips and your choice of garden or mushy peas. Salty, squeaky and very moreish. Our veggie customers love it, and so do plenty of meat-eaters!

The nights are drawing in... and that means one thing: comfort food season has officially arrived at the Appleby Inn. 🍂

Tuck into our rich Lasagne Bolognese, layered with béchamel sauce and served with chips or garlic bread. Or go for a pub classic - our Steak Pie, with melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked beef topped with a light puff pastry lid.

40 Years of the Appleby Inn 🎉

Forty years ago today, we took over a village pub with a vision, plenty of hard work, and the support of our family. Today, we're incredibly proud to celebrate 40 years of the Appleby Inn as a thriving bar, restaurant and hotel.

Over the decades, we've welcomed generations of customers through our doors, created countless memories, and built friendships that have lasted a lifetime. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful customers, past and present staff, suppliers, friends and everyone who has played a part in our story.

The changes have been a plenty over the years and we are proud to remain a family-owned and run business.

We are truly grateful for your support over the last four decades and look forward to welcoming you for many years to come.
