Taunton House B&B Dog Friendly B&B in the heart of the lovely seaside town of Swanage Taunton House is a stunning Purbeck stone villa right in the heart of town.

Built in 1866 it has been lovingly restored by its current owners bringing it up to date with flat screen TVs and WiFi while still maintaining its Victorian charm and restoring many original features,. With prior arrangement, we welcome well behaved dogs that are happy around other dogs and there is no additional charge. However, we ask for a cash deposit on arrival of £50. This will be fully refu

nded at checkout if no extra cleaning or maintenance is required in your room. Divers are welcome to stay with us. The wrecks scattered along the Dorset coast are easily accessible from Swanage or you can just have an easy pootle under Swanage pier. The pier is a short walk from Taunton House and we have a room for drying dive kit. There are beautiful walks along the stunning Jurassic Coast a UNESCO world heritage site. Swanage also has some challenging cycle routes through to Studland bay. We have space for two or three cars at the back of the house. These are available to guests on a first come first served basis. Taunton house is located right in the heart of Swanage, very close to all the pubs and restaurants and a very short walk to the beach so you may not need your car at all. Taunton House is our home and we request that there is no smoking anywhere in or around the house.
