The Gower Peninsula was the first place in Britain to be designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.The Gower Coast has much to offer including rugged surf-lashed coasts, castles, beautiful beaches, medieval churches and caves.With its rugged coastline, there are no less than twenty one bays and sheltered coves. The lounge’s wide-screen television has DVD and free view Facilities.The cottage has an open plan Lounge / Kitchen area, with windows on both sides of the property giving a light, spacious feel.The kitchen is fully fitted. We have an electric cooker, fridge/freezer & microwave.No. 38 has two bedrooms. One with double bed ,One with Two Singles We also have two double bed-settees in the lounge.Our second bedroom also has a wide-screen, wall-mounted, free view television.We have provided a 3-lead audio/video extension cable for your children’s games console so you can get to watch what you want in the lounge!

🥳 EXCITING NEWS For Dog Owners Visiting Gower! 😁🐾

I may be very late to the party with this one… but I’ve just discovered that The Worm’s Head Hotel at Rhossili is now dog friendly inside the bar! 🥳

Previously, dogs were only allowed outside on the terrace, so this is VERY exciting news for anyone now planning to visit with their dog!

And with a view like this, it’s definitely somewhere Ted needs to revisit! 😍🐾

Did you know there's a lost medieval village buried beneath the sands here? 🏰⏳

​Perched on the cliffs overlooking Three Cliffs Bay stand the famous ruins of Pennard Castle and the remains of its original church. But right below them, buried beneath the drifting dunes of Pennard Burrows, lies an entire medieval village—thought by many to be the lost settlement of Stedwarlango.

​In the early 1500s, relentless sandstorms swept across the coast, submerging homes and farmland in sand. The encroaching dunes eventually forced the villagers to abandon their homes, their castle, and their church.

​So next time you're walking across the dunes at Three Cliffs Bay, remember: you're walking over a forgotten piece of Welsh history!
