As many of you are now aware - Dart Nation Junior Darts Academy has now been formed and we are looking to get some taster sessions in the book for the end of May!

Sometimes the darts community can be overwhelming. Yesterday we put a feeler out for a temporary home for our up and coming Youth Academy. My word did you all come through.

I think we had about 20 places come forward & i honestly cannot thank you all enough.

Due to this being Youth and the JDC Standard we had to be a little picky.

4 boards minimum with fixed oches
Seperate room (I.e Function room)
Seperate entrance
But also to accomodate the times we required & have the technology in place

I just would like to say a huge thank you to James Woods at the The Mile End Inn - who will become our host venue when we set up.

We will be looking to run some taster sessions toward the end of May, these will be on a Sunday evening approx 5pm - 7pm but keep your eyes peeled

So Today we did a thing!

Dart Nation Darts Academy (Swansea) has been born and we are officially a JDC Accredited Academy!

I did a fantastic course today about the principles of the JDC and feel our values fully align & that essentially it’s about getting youngsters playing & enjoying darts, so with that the JDC is definitely the right way to go!

We were going to wait until our own venue was ready - but that may be a couple of months away and the demand is clear.

With that we are looking for a temporary home for our academy - ideally somewhere with boards etc in place. So if you know of anywhere then tag away - we can discuss details.

Great afternoon of darts yesterday for our vault series warm up, top effort from all the entries 👏🏼
We heard Group 1 referred to as “the group of death” a few times through the course of the tournament and both the winner and runner up came from group 1.
