Welcome back, Swansea Life magazine! 👋

After a long hiatus, it’s wonderful to see this fantastic local magazine rise from the ashes! The new issue (out today!) is a real celebration of Swansea, its amazing people and its exciting and vibrant events!

We’d like to say Well Done to JR Events & Catering for creating such a superb magazine!😍

Plus, we’re so proud that one of our beautiful weddings has been featured! We’re wishing Hannah and Dylan a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together!❤️

Swansea Life is a free magazine and can be picked up in venues and businesses across Swansea - we’ve got lots of copies at Reception!

Everyone is welcome to pop in and pick one up! Why not curl up in the bar with a glass of w**e or a hot chocolate and have a read?☕️

Today is National Bring Your Teddy To Work Day!🧸

Did you know we have our very own Morgan The Bear? He's having a lovely day today helping guests Check-In and Check-Out at Reception, programming key cards, overseeing breakfast meetings and making coffees in the bar - and he's even helped whisk the butter for today's Cake of The Day! 😜

If you'd like your own Morgan The Bear, you can take him home for just £10.✨

We're looking forward to hosting 'Cwtches & Custard Slices' - a special Afternoon Tea sitting in aid of amazing local charity Faith In Families Swansea.

Tables still available - book online via the post below!
💙💛❤

This is why we’re doing it. 💛

On one side, custard slices, afternoon tea, laughs, Dawn - Fearny's finds and a gorgeous afternoon at Morgans Hotel

On the other, the people at the heart of Faith in Families.

Children. Parents. Volunteers. Families. People who come through our doors because life has become difficult, because money doesn’t stretch far enough, because they’re facing crisis, trauma or simply need someone in their corner.

That’s what Cwtches & Custard Slices is really about.

Yes, we want you to come along and have a brilliant afternoon. We want you to laugh, enjoy the tea, hear Dawn’s story and get stuck into the raffle.

But every ticket sold helps us keep creating safe spaces, providing practical support, helping families with essentials and making sure people in our communities know they don’t have to face everything alone.

Sometimes fundraising looks like a gala dinner.
Sometimes it looks like a muddy challenge.
And sometimes… it looks like a custard slice. 🍰

Come for the cake. Come for the laughs. Come because your ticket helps us be there for someone who really needs us.

📅 Saturday 17th October
⏰ 12pm
📍 Morgans Hotel, Swansea
