A warm culinary welcome to Jonas Gomes and Mayhew Leroy Fernandes who have joined the apprenticeship program at our London Twickenham Marriott Hotel 👩‍🍳

A warm culinary welcome to Rose Southard who has joined the apprenticeship program at our Cardiff Marriott Hotel
Here she is being presented her MCAA welcome gifts by Exec Chef, Andrew Robertson. Her gift includes; a Practical Cookery NVQ workbook, a knife wallet containing 5 Robert Welch knives and her MCAA chef jacket.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, Swindons culinary apprentice, Luke, ran a Chefs table to recognise 1 associate per department within his hotel.

He wrote his own menu, served and presented his own dishes

LUKES MENU

Canape
*
Teriyaki Chicken, coconut rice, toasted cashews, teriyaki sauce
Grilled aubergine Spaghetti, chilli, sun dried tomatoes, thyme crumb (V)

Raspberry Crème brulee, brandy snap, vanilla ice cream, mint
Espresso mud cake, salted caramel ice cream, chocolate sauce

WELL DONE for taking this challenge on-board Luke. I am sure your dinner guests were happy to be treated and such a great way to challenge yourself!

Ibrahim Gumbs is our MCAA Apprentice Chef from Heathrow Windsor Marriott. Here is his June cook off being presented to his Exec Chef and the Hotel General Manager. Grilled chicken supreme, spring vegetables, red wine sauce followed by Eton Mess. Yum yum!!

Ibrahim is our MCAA Apprentice Chef from Heathrow Windsor Marriott. This month he chose to cook some items from the Brew Bar menu and executed them very well. Great to see your continual growth Ibrahim!
