We wanted to ensure our guests had the best night’s sleep at the Fitz Farmhouse, so we chose mattresses for every room.

A company who shares very similar values to ours here at , Natural Mat pride themselves on being sustainable, local, and delivering a fantastic product...

Their mattresses are made in their Devon workshop by a team of local craftspeople using carefully sourced organic and natural materials. With over 5 million mattresses going into landfill each year, we wanted to ensure we chose something that lasted and that was fully recyclable! ♻️

There are lots of wonderful locations to visit in the Potteries, but Middleport has to be one of our very favourites.

Owned and managed by , this award-winning pottery is the oldest working pottery in the whole of the UK and home of .

It was acquired by the charity in 2011 and fully restored, opening to the public in 2014.

You can take part in a heritage or factory tour, have something to eat in the cafe, explore Middleport studios, or treat yourself to something from the fantastic factory shop - such as the wonderful and ranges.

Following a rigorous independent judging process, 118 entries from across the region have been whittled down to a shortlist of finalists in the 19 categories… and we are one of them!

This is such a prestige awards from Visit Staffordshire, and recognised by , so to be in the final for the best pub in the county alongside just three others is a huge honour 🌟🇬🇧

We find out if we are the winner at the awards on Thursday 20th March 2025 🤞🏼
