Moss Road is (finally) getting repaired 🥳👏
𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝟐𝟒/𝟕 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞
𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 (morning)
𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭.
It will not re-open over night during these dates. (There is also another closure planned 10-14 August further down the road. We will share a different shorter diversion for that week)

We have tried our best to work with the council highways, and so have many other local businesses. ‼️But they are not interested‼️
& their diversion route takes you from the closure point in MOSS all the way through to BENTLEY and back round…that would take over 40 minutes (probably longer).

**𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙥 - 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 2**

When approaching the closure from ASKERN direction

1 - Turn right onto HEYWORTH LANE
2 - Continue onto BRICK KILN LANE
3 - Turn left onto TRUMFLEET LANE
(Or reverse for travelling Sykehouse - Askern)

You’ll come out opposite Moss Farm and be able to continue on your journey to us with only a few minutes detour.
It is a narrow lane so please drive steady and expect heavier traffic / passing of other vehicles.
Please respect people’s driveways / gardens.

This route is NOT suitable for LARGE vehicles (wide trucks / HGVS etc) and due to this the full diversion is signposted to Bentley & back.

FIRE ANNOUNCEMENT‼️
We have seen many heartbreaking fires 🔥 due to the extreme dry conditions around us recently so we have to impost strict rules on site:

❌ no firepits
❌ no BBQs
Gas stoves are currently still allowed providing they are OFF GROUND and you have a bucket of water at standby next to you.
