We don’t know the secret to happiness, but it might just be a stay at Leeming House. This 200 year old Georgian mansion has breathtaking views, 22 acres of gardens, and direct access to Ullswater.

Spend your trip walking the fells, sailing on Ullswater or taking a dip in the lake. With Penrith and Pooley Bridge nearby, there’s plenty to explore beyond the hotel, too.

Before it became the charming Cotswold town we know today, Woodstock was famous for making gloves...

The Bear Hotel has been part of the town’s story for centuries, dating back to the 13th century. Woodstock became renowned for its leather glove industry, which shaped the town’s history for generations.

Today, The Bear is a place to enjoy characterful bedrooms, good food and a stay surrounded by history. And with Blenheim Palace just around the corner, there’s plenty to explore while you’re here 🏰

If you’ve been watching The Traitors and can’t help but feel a trip to Scotland is in order, Norwood Hall Hotel deserves a place on your winter bucket list.

Set within a beautiful Victorian mansion in Aberdeenshire, it has all the Scottish charm, grand interiors and atmospheric surroundings of the original traitors’ castle. Once you step foot inside, we doubt you’ll want to be banished anytime soon.

The question is, will you stay faithful to your plans for a Scottish getaway this winter?🏰

They say money cant buy happiness, but here’s a few things it can buy, that come pretty close…

A weekend away, a date night, an afternoon tea, a family trip, a spa day. A delicious dinner with your favourite people.

Sometimes you just need something in the diary to look forward to 😅

Excited to share our new sponsorship. An incredible team supporting one team ❤️

We’re delighted to announce a fantastic new partnership for Wrecsam Resilience FC, as Macdonald Portal Golf & Spa Resort joins the club as the official front-of-shirt sponsor of Wrecsam Nomads FC for the upcoming season! 🟢🟡🤝

Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Portal is far more than somewhere to simply check in. With luxury accommodation, fantastic golf courses, spa and leisure facilities, great food and drink, and beautiful spaces for weddings, events and conferences, there really is something for every occasion. ⛳🏨🍽️💆‍♂️

For a club built around mind, body and soul, we couldn’t think of a more fitting partnership. Having a prestigious local brand put its name — quite literally — behind our lads means a huge amount to everyone at Wrecsam Resilience FC. Their support helps us continue providing opportunities for men to improve their physical fitness, mental wellbeing and social connection through football.

We promise to make ourselves at home with our new partners… although with a hotel like this, checking out might be the difficult part! 😉 And if our finishing is anything like their hospitality this season, we’ll be absolutely flying! ⚽

A massive thank you to everyone at Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa for believing in what we’re building and choosing to support the Nomads. We’re incredibly proud to have your name on the front of our shirt. 💚💛
