Here is an apartment located in Coreglia Antelminelli which I fell in love with.

It’s a few doors down from our current house.

These are the mock ups of how I would have transformed the place. It’s currently on the market for around £25K. We decided that we have our home in Coreglia and should maintain our focus in the UK - it’s where the big bucks are versus a passion-project.

It’s two large bedrooms and has a 30 sqm secret garden. It’s a very doable project with a relatively small budget. The views from all the front facing windows are phenomenal and quite magical. Heaven like.

Two new arrivals at One Drake Road.

Our hallway gallery has gained two rather wonderful little pieces, and for these we’ve returned to Plymouth artist

There’s something deliciously joyful about Sarah’s work. Rows of tiny cups, bowls, jugs and plates, each individually painted, each with its own character. They feel almost like miniature collections within a collection. Domestic, familiar and beautifully observed, but with just enough whimsy to make you stop and look properly.

And that’s exactly what we want from the art at One Drake Road.

There’s something rather lovely about the cottage as evening falls.

Lights on, curtains drawn and everything warm and welcoming, ready for our guests to come home after a day exploring.

A cosy kitchen, comfy chairs, a proper little fire and a bedroom tucked away upstairs. It’s not about being perfect or polished, it’s about character, warmth and feeling instantly at home.

I won.

Last week I shared the lovely news that I had been nominated. Today, I am elated to share that I have won the Influential Man in Business Award in Marketing & Brand Strategy 2026.

This one means a great deal.

It recognises a career spent in the corporate world building brands, shaping reputations, leading international marketing teams and helping businesses grow, before taking everything I’d learned and pouring it into our own business adventures.

Today, that experience lives and breathes in One Drake Road & Apartments, the business Jack and I have built together with an enormous amount of love, hard work, creativity and determination.

I’m incredibly proud of my corporate career, but equally proud that I had the courage to turn the page and start a new chapter.

From £3 auction find to one-of-a-kind furniture.

A little , a steady hand and a bit of imagination has given this forgotten little table a whole new personality.

Hand painted and decorated, it’s now ready for its new home at Number Two Russell House, where it’ll add another little layer of charm, colour and character.

We love finding pieces that others might overlook and turning them into something completely unique. It’s good for the planet, good for the pocket, and means our spaces never feel like they’ve come straight out of a catalogue.

We love hearing what brings guests to Tavistock!

This week we have guests from America staying with us as part of an incredible journey following the legendary St Michael’s Line across Europe.

And one of the landmarks on their route is right on our doorstep, the tiny church of St Michael de Rupe, perched high on Brentor.

From Ireland, through Britain, France, Italy and beyond, it’s quite a journey. And for a little while, Tavistock is part of their story.

A magical afternoon, just up the road from us to visit what can only be described as a magical enchanting garden with home grown loveliness - an artist and garden retreat. Very inspiring for our forever home in the future.
