We had a wonderful day celebrating the 50th anniversary of the last train departing the Station. Thank you to all who came, we hope you found it fascinating and enjoyable. 🚂🚂🚂

ALMOST 200 people joined Tavistock Heritage Trust on Saturday to commemorate the day when the town lost its railway.

It doesn't seem possible that it is November tomorrow. Christmas and New Year are already booked for festivities.

The 100 otters have found new homes and we had chance to see 30 of them yesterday at Bearnes Auctioneers in Exeter. Rumour has it that there may be something similar next year. Wonder which animal will be chosen.

Didn't realise quite how close RHS Rosemoor is to Tavistock only 50 minutes. Had a lovely day there, and there was still such a lovely display of flowers. Saw this amazing bug house or Invertebrate Habitat stack, so Colin's next project!

We have availability for 3 nights plus during September and October, a lovely time of year with Autumn creeping up on us.
The exterior of the station is currently being painted and looking very smart in its buff and Buckingham green Southern Railway colours. Hope to see you soon.
