We are proud to be joining the group previously known as TAVATA and newly rebranded and supporting the Tamar Valley and the border of Devon & Cornwall. There is so much to do in the area and as a central location we are within easy reach of a host of interesting areas, activities and places to visit. Yipee. Having met with Environmental Health officers this morning we are delighted to be able to advise our toilet block can be fully opened with enhanced operating procedures from today.

We are taking reservations without deposit for all our accommodation (please see Covid notice on our news feed about any restrictions).

Both the self-contained, self-catering Apartment and Holiday Cottage are available to book via our on-line booking system. (Our Apartment is just finishing refurbishment and new photos available shortly.) - Do please free to use to check availability - we have just one standard price throughout the year!

Our Campsite pitch prices are increased by just £1/night over 2020 prices.

If you are considering a staycation please visit our website where we have recently introduced an online booking system.

Please note we are accepting reservations without a deposit until further guidance is provided. Notable dates are on the site and this option is likely to remain in place until 21st June.

If you reserve a pitch, pod, cottage, or apartment then it will remain your booking.

When certainty is provided we may then request a deposit.

Any balance will be payable when you are here. Currently bookings made after 21st June will revert to our standard Conditions of Booking.

If in any doubt don't hesitate to make contact.

An update on Covid, Government guidance and answers to clarifications questions raised by the BH&HPA are available on our website. In keeping with this guidance details we have provided remain consistent with those guidelines.

Acquiring the Industry Standard mark means that our business has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

So the weekend is here and dreams of getting away cannot be far away.....when further guidance is given we are anticipating a rush. We are already receiving bookings which is great - but we don't want anyone to miss out - especially as for the moment we are reserving pitches etc without a deposit! So don't hesitate, go to our web page and use the online system to reserve - there is no risk to our guests, but if pitches go we can't create new ones ;-)

We are of course always open to calls for any clarity and guidance required. We have sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, bees etc and shortly to enhance our Rare breed programme with RBST 'Welsh' gilt.

Don't forget outdoor sports are resuming and our Archery Club (www.tamarvalleyarchers.co.uk ) supports a range of engagements from 'Have-a-go' to full Beginner's Courses. If you are visiting as a registered AGB current member, then you only need your membership details to shoot as a guest memeber.

New Archery GB registered range and club open to all with focus on young, mobility impaired and families. A range of courses from 'Have-a-go', to 'Taster Sessions' to 'Beginners Courses. Residential options exist.

ok - so finally new website and email back up and running - though not fully stable until tomorrow mid-day'ish. Any issues please let us know. New news will be published when guidance better understood from the Gov and BH&HPA. For the moment with luck guests should be able to reserve pitches using our new online booking system without making ANY deposit. We will address this going forward as lockdown rules become clearer - can't be fairer than that - an example - "shared toilet facilities" may not be allowed to be fully re-opened until later in the easing period - so bookings such as our Pods may be conditional upon availability of those facilities - the same for tenters etc. Stay safe all and I'm sure there will be a way forward that's safe for all in the near future.

It's been a while being able to publish anything meaningful of late....however.....some exciting news.....we are in the process of publishing a new web site hosted with new server providers. The propogation process is started and takes approx 24 hours to complete. During that time there may be some interruptions to our services (web site availability and email interruptions). Apologies in advance but we are looking forward to a new season. The new site will allow guests to reserve a pitch without making a deposit until such time as we all know it is safe to be out and about.

Well, we are back up and running again - though limiting numbers to the site in particular wrt tents as they are more dependant on our facilities. We have also removed numbers of pitches that can be booked through 3rd party portals - again to manage numbers etc.

We would encourage propspective guests to make contact and discuss any concerns in advance of their stay. Apologies in advance for any delays in replying - we have been inundated with enquiries and are still processign them.
