Located in the heart of the small village of Kilchrenan, the Inn will serve good, honest, British food for lunch and dinner, alongside a carefully selected range of beers, wines and spirits. Once an 18th century trading post, the Inn has been transformed into a contemporary gastropub and is a true gem hidden amongst the munros and lochs of rural Argyll & Bute. The Kilchrenan Inn is a 15-minute drive from Taynuilt and a short walk from the shores of Loch Awe, one of Scotland's largest lochs. It is the ideal pit-stop for those exploring the West of Scotland and only a short drive from Oban, the Gateway to the Isles.

Christmas at The Kilchrenan Inn

Christmas in our corner of Argyll means good food, a warm fire, a few festive drinks and plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the season.

We’ll be open across Christmas and New Year, with a few changes to our usual hours along the way. We’ll also be serving our special Christmas Prix Fixe Menu throughout the festive season, filled with some of our favourite winter dishes and seasonal ingredients.

If you’re planning to eat with us, we’d recommend booking ahead — it’s always a busy time at the Inn.

Then, from 4th January, we’ll close the doors for our winter break, reopening on 10th February, rested and ready for the year ahead.

We look forward to sharing the festive season with you.
