We only have one review so far, but this is it - Harp House is perfect - laid out beautifully across three floors, it’s equipped with everything you need for a great break away. The location couldn’t be more convenient - right on the main high street a stones throw away from the butcher, bakery and beach. There’s a brilliant boot area downstairs for all your beach gear complete with washing machine, a big kitchen diner with lovely sunny terrace, large living room and four great sized bedrooms. Everything was super clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Communication was all great and there were some lovely touches including a bottle of fizz upon arrival! I would highly recommend this great home. Thanks for a lovely stay

Harp House is a charming terraced holiday home set on three floors in the beautiful Devon village of Shaldon. Tastefully decorated and well furnished for a self-catering break with family or friends, the period property sleeps six people in four bedrooms with a balcony and a private roof garden. The owners have retained original features, gently bringing Harp House into the 21st Century with efficient heating, fast WiFi, and high-quality appliances. You can walk everywhere from the cottage with the beach, river, bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops within 10 minutes from the front door.

Local highlights are Shaldon Zoo, Smugglers Tunnel and Ness Cove, enjoy a walk along The South West Coast Path before visiting one of the many pubs for a delicious meal and a pint.

Try leaving the car and taking the passenger ferry across the River Teign to Teignmouth, where there is a beach, shops, cafes and pubs, or take a drive along the coast to the English Riviera and it’s many attractions.

Harp House is comfortable and convenient but, more importantly, feels warmly welcoming in all seasons. One well behaved furry friend welcome 🐶.
