Welcome to Longmeadow Farm (LMF), where the coast meets the country.

Here at Longmeadow Farm we provide Self Catering Cottages and a Campsite on the edge of the beautiful seaside village of Shaldon. Longmeadow Farm, Shaldon; provides traditional and modern Self Catering Accommodation in beautiful Devon on a working, family run farm in a rural location, less than one mile from the beach. The Farm also offers relaxing camping with wildlife in abundance, sheep, Kunekune pigs and Miniature Shetland ponies grazing.

Happy Monday everyone!!

What a difference a week makes; sun every day 🌞.

We have been busy mowing, strimming, pressure washing and tree planting.

We have been a little quiet on social media. Not because nothing is happening, quite the opposite!

January we saw rain, rain and more rain, and at the end of the month we started lambing.

February saw lots more lambs born, as well as another addition to the family, welcoming baby No.2 to the farm.

Now somehow we are well into March, spring has sprung and we are getting prepared for Easter in 3weeks when we open our campsite for the season.

We look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and new ones too during 2026.

And as always we say; please be patient with us as we are only a small family business, three of us cover all the roles at Longmeadow Farm.

May is now upon us and we are hoping for some warmer, drier weather to come our way🤞.

We have a new addition at the Farm we would like to introduce to you all. It's not an animal this time......

Mark and Hannah are super excited to announce the arrival of Oliver John Robert Nicholls who made an appearance on Sunday 7th April. He is doing very well and already fitting in well on the farm and getting involved. We look forward to introducing you to the newest member of the team at LMF.

Good Friday is here and the Easter holidays can begin. It is definitely a bit chilly for camping, but we do have some last minute availability in our new cottage over the next couple of weeks if you are still looking for a spring break.
