We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This role is perfect for a motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced fresh food production environments and has a strong background in kitchen management, food safety, and hospitality. Working alongside the Head Chef you will oversee daily operations, mentor team members, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and service are consistently met. Your leadership will inspire excellence in culinary ex*****on while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation and cooking to ensure efficiency and quality standards are maintained
Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth
Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize operational efficiency
Develop menus, recipes, and presentation standards that align with brand guidelines and customer expectations
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to maintain smooth workflow and exceptional service delivery
Support the onboarding of new team members by providing training on food preparation, safety procedures, and hospitality standards
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen or food production environment
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in fresh food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Demonstrated team management abilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience working in restaurants or hospitality settings with a focus on customer satisfaction
Strong organizational skills for inventory management and operational planning
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with other departments
Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £29,500.00 per year
